Dante is an elven man of quiet confidence. Most of his interactions with society are on a professional basis as the owner of the bakery and sweet shop Creme Royale. He can be seen most mornings through the glass window as he rolls out and kneads his homemade dough for the day. The shop is on a pedestrian heavy street near the university, causing him to draw small crowds periodically as he works. He doesn't mind being an exhibitionist in this sense, knowing it stirs up curiosity and enough interest in the food to bring people in for a taste and smell. He takes pride in the quality of his food turning many into return customers. Although Dante has chosen to live more among humans than elves, he does not engage many outside his business. Outside Creme Royale, he has been spotted at the library on numerous occasions, perhaps to peruse the collection of recipes for new desserts and baked goods, or long forgotten techniques of bread making.

Dante tends to dress well, although not extravagantly, most especially by Elven standards. Long sleeve button up shirts with the sleeves rolled to his elbows are a common sight, as are both slacks and jeans. Since moving to Strawberry, he tends to keep his dark hair cut rather short. His hands and arms appear strong and muscular, thanks to daily working dough himself. His frame appears lean and muscular. Often when about town, Dante uses a glamour to disguise his more distinctive physically elven attributes, such as causing his eyes and ears to appear human.

Dante has lived multiple human lifespans, although he himself is unsure as to his exact age. The details of his birth and upbringing are shrouded in pain and regret, leading him to rarely discuss them. Once he began to live as his own elf, he chose to often live among humans for reasons mostly his own. He finds it difficult to trust elven society, and thus keeps his distance, a decision most elven societies agree upon. Although not shunned, Dante's presence is often met with less than enthusiasm.
