Deep within the world of the Forest stands a tree much larger than those around it, shimmering in the moonlight with a thousand twinkling lights scattered over and through its branches. Stories say the tree holds life itself, the Lignum Vitae, it is called, shrouded in mystery as a place visited only in dreams, only in the moments the world seems too dark and a ray of hope is necessary to continue on.Stories say the tree itself moves as a means of protecting itself, keeping its location a secret from those that would cause it harm. That it provides what its inhabitants need. Stories even say it provides life itself to the greater world beyond it, feeding the Forest itself with life.
