Background:

Though  her fire red hair and pale skin seem to hint an Irish ascent, truth is that Alice never knew her parents and was raised at an orphanage. Here she met Mary, a blak girl who became her childhood friend.

It was with her that she learned that skin colour did mean little (aside from  resistance to the sun). At 12 years she began to listen to Martin Luther King’s speeches, and she was quite shocked by his death while she was 14.

She studied to be a school teacher with a grant given by the government, and at finishing it she began to work in a public school where most their pupils were black (making her quite odd among them). A fire at the school, where she nearly died while taking the children out of it fully destroyed it. Soon after her friend Mary died, and Alice was left without much tying her to the city. When a volunteer for a rural public school was asked for, she stepped forward.

After some time working again, one night, while returning home she found some policemen beating a man they claimed to be a criminal. She intervened asking them to stop the beating, and that earned her some baton hits and an arrest for “resist the police”. She spent that night on a cell in the sheriff office, worried because she could really not afford a lawyer. Only one deputy seemed to have some sympathy to her.

Next day she was brought before the judge and, to her surprise, a quite famous lawyer (one she could not even dream to afford) appeared claiming to be her legal assistant. The lawyer made up to his fame and she was released, and a few days latter she received the invitation to the Project.

Appearance:

Alice is a beautiful girl that looks even younger than she is. She has fire red hair, and pale skin that easily sunburns and she’s not too strong, though she has a decent endurance.

Personality:

She’s rather shy (some would even say aloof), though has quite a group oriented mentality, always trying to help in improving the common welfare.
