Hurst is a muscular blond male who if often seen clad in forest tone leather and carrying a long sword. Rumor in the village has it that he's Trienne's current favorite, being in the prime of his life and adventurous. He sometimes works with Trienne's ranger contact in the Glimmer Wood.

Hurst unfortunately knows he's good looking and he often finds this ample reason to flirt with visitors and good-looking woman who happen into town. He has sworn off elven females after he accidentally hit on Fenlock's wife, Aster. He is also very respectful around the elven wizard and Aster.

He and Trienne have a thing but he's bored with her chatter about forests and plants. He is the son of the Blacksmith. His mother was considered quiet the catch, but she went missing two years ago. He thinks orcs stole her chances are his mother ran away from he and his father.

When the town went dark, Hurst was fishing and he's been stuck dealing with what ever it is by the lake. Since, things have been rising up. He wants to get in touch with either the rangers or Trienne.
