Hargrin is a familiar, often smiling, face around Greenest. He has a broad, sun-tanned face and a solid build. His hair and eyes are the brown of fresh, damp dirt/ Unless dressed for ceremonial duties or a festival, he favors plain, durable clothing in earth tones that he doesn’t mind exposing to the elements. He is fastidious with his hair and beard, making sure they’re well-groomed and usually braided in some fashion. He always bears an amulet with Chaunea’s symbol around his neck.

He grew up the son of one of Chauntea’s Clerics, right in the middle of four sisters, and surprised his family by being the only child to enter the Mother’s service as one of Her relatively rare male Clerics. His mother only got him into farming, gardening and planting in the first place because they taught care and patience to an excited and occasionally clumsy young boy.

As he got older, he grew to love tending the land and helping his neighbors harvest the bounty they needed to survive. Hargrin’s not the most charismatic soul around, but he makes up for it with a genuine interest in people and their problems. He’s fairly easy-going with the patience of one who lives by the land’s schedule over his own, and just about the only thing that can prick his temper is the waste of food or willful and unnecessary destruction of nature.

He enjoys brewing his own ales as a hobby and matching them against the efforts of the local brewery.
