She is five-and-a-half feet tall, pale skin, long and curly strawberry-blond hair, and eyes so pale that choosing a color to describe them would be difficult.  She is dressed in tan slacks and sandals, blue tube-top and leather jacket.  She also has one of those slings that resemble an extra-wide knit scarf with the ends sown together.  The bulge within was too small to be a child, so was likely some small breed dog.

The creature struggle until it can push it's head out from between the flaps. It has a long neck, golden scales, a roughly triangular head, and horn knobs. It has an overall reptilian look except for the eyes which are multifaceted like an insect and glowing blue. A bit more struggling and it frees and spreads it's wings... it's a miniature dragon, sort of...

In the wild they eat seaweed and anything meat-based that has been rendered small enough to swallow.
