You have all lead full lives and have become powerful, once you were an adventuring company, along with a few others. You slew the red/black dragon Ragerthaxrix in the Shining Plains, when it kidnapped local nobles, to sell back to families or eat. You thwarted the Red Wizards of Thay in the Unicorn Run when they dared to unlease a spell to warp every single Unicorn into their brutal Black Unicorns. You fought side by side to protect Waterdeep from an Invasion from the Sea, at the side of the Lord of Waterdeep
Perigon Paladinson, and the likes of Blackstaff and his wife.

You have aided kingdoms Cormyr holds you all in great esteem and you are noted in their Hall of Heroes, you helped protect from an uprising of drow, with plans to invade Cormyr, protected the Royal Family, fought aside the Purple Dragons, and even the King himself when hell practically opened to allow things out. The group was again successful.  Then later they joined him in fighting the Tuigan Army that tried to take over the realms.

They aid Myrmeen Lhal in fighting the Night Parade and are successful.

However, Nightal of that Year sees them in a quest that none of them thought they would ever see. A starry eyed woman, clad in elven chain barely of the age to be wielding a blade let alone with the talent she does finds the group while they are wintering in Waterdeep.You are approached by a Shard of Selune, who enlists your aid for her goddess.

It is when your group encounters Viysahnith an up and coming demon lord that things reach their pentacle, the combat with the demonlord is a costly one. Though undoubtedly powerful, it is still a rough combat and even with allies many are laid low by Viysahnith's forces. In the end your group defeats the demon by containing her in the crown of shards. Which is then shattered and each of you are given a shard to protect.

It is advised for the group to split to keep the safety of the shards a secret and hidden.Most travel in two's or three. It is when you are again contacted by the Lady Shard, that you are drawn back.
