Once a police detective, he found himself investigating a string of ritual murders. As he delved deeper into the occult, he began to experience strange dreams of making his way through a shadowy labyrinth, pursuing dark figures that were always out of reach. At the climax of his investigation, he had a vision of finally reaching the dark tower at its center, and when confronting the killer he realised that her magic was real and powered by death - something reaffirmed when she escaped him by fleeing through a dark portal. Filled with new purposes, he left the force to start a private agency where he takes on cases that are bizarre, deranged or simply impossible. But he has never stopped hunting for that elusive black magician, sure that sooner or later she will strike again.
