Mel is a refugee from the Lor Republic's former territories, displaced by the Stellar Khanate

A slight person, they are covered in a thin lichen, attended by two bees. When in uniform for heroics they wear a yellow and black jumpsuit with repurposed Lor armour and a stinger gun contained in two bracers.
