Rise of the Kaiju
The legends of the Kaiju have been around since before the dawn of civilization. However, few believe they actually exist. After all, if creatures larger than comprehension existed within the plane, surely they would have been spotted long ago. Tracked. Studied. And recorded in something that was less than thousands of years old.But now? Now the planets were aligning and a wealthy enthusiast has assembled an elite team to protect the realm from such beasts. He claimed they would be arriving this year. During each full moon, a Kaiju event would occur, each more powerful than the last. And the beasts would need to be slain before the next full moon arose, or dire consequences would ensue.
It seemed like an unlikely scenario, but the pay was good. And when the first full moon came... Well, the benefactor didn't seem so far-fetched anymore...
