Vivolt

An android built to elven specifications, Vivolt is just under six feet tall with pale off yellow skin that is too smooth to be real. White hair cascades loosely past her shoulders, shimmering with a multi-chromatic halo not unlike an oil slick around the edges. Her eyes are a solid green aside from a digitized sinewave that shifts and moves with her words and attention.

There are two things that suggest Vivolt isn't actually elven; the first being the unrelenting precision, symmetry and lack of volume. Elves are thin, but not that thin. Her curves are present in all the expected places and flawlessly duplicated and mirrored in a way that nature just doesn't usually go in for without help.

The second is the port slots for augmentations; who needs a double access brain port, bi-lateral throat access and wrist ports that are so well worn they are starting to get shiny and glossy from wear? Sure, you could mod your body to match this teenager's dream of an elf and have god knows how many more access ports than you need or you could start with a machine and attach the shell of an elf around it to get to the same place.

Name: Vivolt
Classification: Minor Vid Personality
Genre: Just Comming, Breaking News, Energy Ascendancy

A very young android, Vivolt was constructed twenty two years ago in a rare multi-plant experiment involving Morkhat El'Soran the famed elven roboticist, the Church of Triune and a Shakalta ambassador. The goal was to create an artificial lifeform with at least some of the same advantages as the Shakalta's energy body. The ability to freely recharge from ambient light, to disregard multiple environmental concerns and pave the way for the ascendency to a higher state of being for whole systems, whole species.

Vivolt is technically all of those things but the gap between potential and reality can sometimes be cruel. Rather than resemble her erstwhile kin on Aballon whose parts and technology she was based on or a truly transcendent form like the Shakalta whose abilities she was designed to mimic, Vivolt looks distinctly like an elf.

Not just any elf either, her features are a striking match for Doctor El'Soran's sister; or rather pictures of her pre-Gap. It is known she was alive and well on Castrovel leading up to the Gap and by all indications disappeared during the missing hole in history. Perhaps she is wherever Golarion is, but her likeness lives on through the dedication (or subterfuge) of her brother.

The roboticist was able to imbue his progeny with a fundamental connection to Energy and Vivolt is able to sense, manipulate and generate Energy and Mass spontaneously. The nanite core provided by Church of Triune could have formed a nucleus around which the energy form would coalesce and provide material interface when needed, but it is just as good at smoothing over the details that would reveal Vivolt as not actually being a living and breath Elf or creating tools on demand.

For her part, Vivolt seemed willing to play the part of a aspirational Energy Ascendancy messiah in public and her creator's lost sister and more in private. The Church of Triune was disappointed at the betrayal of their trust and withdrew their support from the project, which triggered the withdrawal of the Shakalta government as well, between a universe spanning power and one elven pervert its not even a discussion.

Alt.E.Ascendancy however was delighted to have a new public figurehead for their calls of widespread Energy Ascension, regardless of the controversy swirling around her creation. Vivolt took to posting weekly videos, first talking about and then demonstrating her abilities to interface with Energy and the philosophical, economic and moral ramifications of this type of ability spreading to all species and peoples.

Ten years later, her content suffered its first disruption and Vivolt goes offline for six months. Returning to a significantly diminished audience, Viv broadcasts from the Abadallon
