Since the Trials began, there has been a host – someone whose job it was to lure the viewers in and hold their attention during the lulls that sometimes come. Three Trials ago, Favian Amantra took the stage and immediately became a fan favorite. It wasn’t just because he was young and handsome, although that did play a role in it; he also had a presence about him that the previous hosts did not.

The Contestants opened to Favian unlike any previously. He knew when to speak, when to be quiet and let them talk, what questions to ask, and simply how to be in front of the camera and on the stage. He also is very talented when it comes to playing off the emotions of others.

His signature look is brilliant colored hair and a matching beard; each trial, the color changes (this year, it is green).  This is because between Trials he does not want to be bothered by questions (it is not easy getting to know people over months that die before your eyes and you have to make it into a show).  People do not recognize him without his bright colors and full beard.
