Background:
Strong willed, Amy is easily corrupted by her powers. So much so, that even her ability to feel emotions does not cause her to think twice about making someone else feel rotten. Fortunately, fate dictated she be raised in a loving home with determined parents that lived on Neplusultra. Even with all that, the powers began to corrupt her to where she got expelled from school. But her parents took her to the federation to get her some discipline. It worked wonders. Her once evil thoughts of making people cry for her pleasure have now been reduced to mere mischief. Now she is as mischievous as a kid with no powers... though make no mistake, she uses her powers and still has a problem keeping herself from reading minds for fun.


Personality:
Amy is generally an even-headed girl. She is a stickler for the rules, and yet isn't a rules lawyer, only telling people if they break important rules (or are about to). This is from a desire to cover her butt and yet not be known as a stick in the mud. Deep down, she has sass and will talk back to anyone, even high-ranking officials like commodores. But this is a part of her that hasn't surfaced much and so far, she has kept it under control. However, deeper down is another layer of her that Amy is afraid of anyone finding...


Abilities:
1) Psychic - Amy is a top-tier psychic. She has the following psychic powers:
  A) Seer - Amy can predict the future. While she doesn't have control over this power, she often sees dangers before they happen and always at least senses danger approaching. The further into the future she sees, the less often the visions.
  B) Telepath - Most psychics are telepaths to some degree, but Amy's telepathy is off the charts. She is able to talk to minds from across the stars if she can picture the person well enough in her mind. If she sees them on a vid screen, she can talk to their mind. And lastly, she is able to read minds down to the deepest memories even the owner may have forgotten.
  C) Empath - Amy can feel the emotions of those around her and if she concentrates, she can feel the emotions of people miles away as long as she can see them clearly (such as with a telescope, binoculars, or a com screen). In close range, such as conversational, Amy is aware of the emotional state of people near her, but can easily shut it out like background noise. If she chooses to pay attention to one person's emotions, she gets a very clear idea of how they feel. However, when people touch her, Amy has to concentrate to not feel that person's emotions as her own.




Weaknesses:
1) Psionic Identity - Being one of the most powerful psychics in the galaxy brings several problems. For one, her empathy causes her self-doubt as to who she really is. For another, knowing she's among the foremost gives her an arrogance she does her best to bury. Also, being a powerful psychic is all there is to her; she isn't all that great at anything else and she often winds up feeling isolated due to having little in common with most anyone in the galaxy.


Weapons:
1) Standard Issue Laser Pistol - Amy's side arm is nothing terribly different from those of her fellow crew mates other than it being sized for a mouse.
