Arthenadon is a male Branchwych, of indeterminate age.  His thick, oak-like bark covers most of his body.  It has a dark brown shade, as if it spent many years shadowy darkness beneath the canopy and behind thick branches, rather than having a bleached complexion of regular exposure to wind and sun.

While his face has anthropomorphic features, the black-green blaze of his eyes and the natural downward-turn of the corners of his mouth do not invite overmuch socialization from most mortals.  In fact, the way that the black swirls in his eyes might suggest to some that they should remain at a greater distance than they might otherwise.
