The veil between Earth and the worlds beyond is thinner than we think -- the Dreaming, the umbra, the Shadowlands, and even more, laying just on the other side. Energies, magics, and beings are always flowing back and forth between worlds, affecting both sides in a constant dance.On one side, the world seems bleak, a dying place losing more magic every day. Willworkers and fae stranded there struggle simply to exist, fighting to keep dreams alive.
While just across the veil, endless worlds teeming with new unknown magics lay beyond each new vista. There, magical natives struggle against interplanar dangers that might shatter the mortal mind.
Still, there are those with a foot in both worlds, comfortable on either side, but truly at home in neither, seeking for something beyond both.
