Description: Caleb stands 5'11" tall and keeps a clean-shaven handsome appearance. He typically keeps his hair neat and orderly, usually short but allows it to grow out to medium length, parting and combing it backwards when it gets there. He is for the most part physically fit in order to to his job, though several years in private security has given him a small belly.

Personality: An open minded person with an empathic heart, he tries to see both sides of an issue. For the most part is a big teddy bear wishing to help others through rough times, but he does not abide seeing others put in danger or injustice. He does curb this when working and tries to keep focused on the task at hand, but being trained as a counselor as well as understanding the human psyche to an extent makes it difficult.

Background: Caleb grew up in a lower middle-class family the eldest of three siblings by several years. He was always the peacemaker between his brother and sister who seemed always at each others throats being only a year apart. After graduating from high school he went on to college to earn a bachelor's degree in Psychology focusing in counseling psychology, but after completing the degree and finding out that it would take a Master's in counseling as well as clinical trials in order to build his own practice or even work as a school counselor he decided to try something else.

A friend got him a job in private security, malls and private residences mostly where he was able to utilize what he learned while learning something new. The downtime on the job allowed him to dabble in a hobby of his: writing. He just wrote things, mostly short stories that wound up in the trash or saved in an old folder never to be opened again. After six years he got a lot of writing done even getting close to finalizing a novel he was willing to try to publish. The job was getting dull as well, and the pay hadn't really increased much over the six years. When the new Alcatraz project was started he felt emboldened to apply, eager for something new especially if it would spark more ideas for his hobby.
