Shade is on the small side for a fourteen-year-old, at 4'8" and around 90 pounds. She has blue-green eyes, long auburn hair, and a striking resemblance to fellow student Morph. Two things set her apart: her coloration seems a little darker, though it may be a trick of the light; and that Shade seems not just precocious like her twin, but a little more worn, even harrowed. Even in sunlight, she often seems more shadowed and physically withdrawn than her sister. Her tendency to stay in the background of events and let Morph handle things for both of them doesn't help people's perception of her, either.
