Ysoldeine was born, as far as she can remember, in or near the mysterious Mirrored Mines. Large quantities of magicite crystal had been mined from the area in recent years for use in magitech and although they have not yet been exhausted, getting workers to stay more than a year or two has proved difficult at best.

When she was 5, she was removed from the area.
