Torrig Clayfoot was a scout for his clan, patrolling the outside world for dangers. He was good at it too. When he and his company completely missed the arrival of a troop of men, an unsavoury kind of men, he fell into dishonour. He still doesn´t understand how it happened and his only explanation is that someone betrayed him somehow. There was nothing he could do about it though, and he was selected for a dangerous mission, plainly having become expendable. He now looks upon men and, frankly, his kin, with distrust.
