Anthony Chiccarone, age 41, is an Italian American from the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio.  His analytical mind and inventive spirit has helped him build a unique career.  His job listed on the OrionTech roster is Captain, but there is more to this slightly eccentric blue-collar.

Most are unaware that he had a run in with the cops when he was in his teens and was convinced by the judge to take a job on a merchant ship rather than serve jail time.  Chick found his calling.  The captain of the ship realized that the young man had an engineer's mind and threw him into working with some of the finest engineers in the fleet as well as teaching him the ways of the bridge.
 Since then he has also picked up a pilot's license.

He is a natural leader and is charismatic.  His favorite past time is fine-tuning the twin engine plane that he purchased a few years back. That naturally folded into him redesigning ship engines to produce more power.

Over the past two years Chick's passion has been the development of the McCurdy.  He is always trying to milk more horsepower out of the engines or coax an additional knot or two from the drives.  He spends most of his time below decks and considers the engine room his personal domain.  While he is trained on using the computers for the ship, he prefers the more hands on work below decks.

He favors a white t-shirt and jeans, under his grease stained overalls- he is never seen without his red and blue Cleveland Indians ball cap.

Chick is a prolific gum chewer, and insists on blaring 1970s disco from a portable tape player that looks to be made of nothing but duct tape and spare parts.
