Class A Rank 4 Heroine Radiant Starburst is something of a strange case; a magical girl in her mid-twenties. As a magical girl she draws power from and is strongly influenced by belief in the righteousness of her cause. As her fans have aged and matured so has Starburst, resulting in a very eccentric hero whose forays into economic inequality and social justice are often unappreciated by a public who just wants her to fight monsters. As a consequence her popularity has been on a decline with no clear bottom in sight. There is a real fear that as belief in her slips so too will her powers, suggesting that there is a very real reason why magical girls seem to fade away as they get older.

Radiant Starburst has the ability to sense the emotional states of others around her, fly at hypersonic speeds, and control light to create mesmerizing patterns or fire powerful laser beams. She is capable of withstanding impossible levels of physical force, powering through psychic attack with heroic determination, and sustaining her vitals almost indefinitely on willpower alone. When her emotions reach a crescendo she is capable of channeling the hopes and prayers of everyone around her into a finishing technique peerless even among Class S Heroes, known as the Starbow Break -- said to be the most beautiful and uplifting display to ever be experienced by man, whose sheer majesty can vaporize monsters with a single glance.

Radiant Starburst's greatest weakness is that her power waxes and wanes with others' emotional states. When surrounded by people brimming with positivity who believe in her and want her to succeed, she can put the most powerful S-class heroes to shame; when others are downcast and beaten with all hope extinguished, she is struck weak as a sickly child. Usually she falls somewhere in the middle; powerful, but not exceptionally so. Even at the height of her power she is a very poor close combatant; the mental darkness inherent in monster-kind drains her power with a mere touch, and splashing the evil ones' blood across her pure white dress has been known to drive her to a madness that can last days.

Radiant Starburst's popularity seems to be on the rise again with the rumor that she has become romantically involved with A-Class Rank 3 Hero Kamen Divider. Neither Hero has taken deliberate steps to deny the gossip.
