Astral de Pamela is a tiny woman with a huge profile. She is the owner, CEO, and sole proprietor of ChromeStar -- a massive research, design, and manufacturing firm of anti-monster weapons and drones. She is a ruthless businesswoman, crushing the competition and assimilating their remains by any means necessary; rumors, all unproven, tell tales of blackmail, espionage, and even assassinations. That said she is neither greedy nor callous, striving to protect her workers' physical and mental wellbeing and taking just enough from the company to live comfortably with minimal luxuries. She works to protect humanity, not by taking up weapons herself but by striving to one day create a world where people can feel safe and secure without needing to fight. She may cultivate the image of a megalomaniacal supervillain for PR's sake, but the truth is greyer than that.

Although she does not advertise herself as a fighter (lest she attract undue attention to herself) Astral is more than capable of defending herself. She uses her versatile and deadly StarLance in combat which allows her to manipulate electromagnetism, launch deadly balls of fire and electricity, create objects out of pure energy, and even smack dudes up in a pinch. Nonetheless, she is an ordinary human (assuming denials of genetic manipulation can be trusted) and all it takes is a single attack from a superpowered monster to take her out.
