'Call me Castle, everyone else does.'

Castle's sleek, slender frame makes her seem taller than the perfectly acceptable average height she actually stands at, her lithe body toned and fit in a way that speaks to both hours spent training and having been naturally blessed with a terrific metabolism. Her movements are confident, her strides measured and smooth, all signs painting her as a woman secure in her own skin that has no need to impress anybody else.

She prefers to bleach out her naturally-dark hair to an ash-blonde shade, but can't be bothered to regularly maintain it so her roots are almost always showing, and her standard wardrobe is what one might call 'military surplus-meets-thrift store chic' if they were being kind. Everything she owns is well-worn and thoroughly broken in, chosen for comfort more than fashion or any need to keep up with the current style. Rumor has it she owns a dress, but rare is the occasion that she's spotted in anything other than fatigues or cargo pants partnered with an assortment of shirts, often layered and running the gamut from grease-stained tanks and faded longsleeve tees to more traditionally-girly spaghetti-strap camis, every last article of clothing thin and faded, obviously acquired secondhand. Combat boots are de rigueur no matter what, and when the weather demands, her go-to outer layer is a simple black leather motorcycle jacket. In her 'mech, Castle sticks with the tried-and-true bikini, her style of choice an athletic racerback cut with a bit more substance than skimpier string styles. Easily washed and quick to dry, the swimwear is a classic mechwarrior choice for a reason, and she owns an assortment of colors in the same rainbow-trimmed style, having clearly bought out every variation available when she found one she liked. Noticeable only in her cockpit attire, a low, 7cm comma-shaped scar puckers the skin to the southwest of her navel, matched by a fingertip-sized divot of scar tissue just above and behind her left hip.

Regardless of attire or situation, she always wears a rugged military-grade timepiece on her left wrist, partnered with a paracord emergency bracelet (usually either signal green- or vermillion red-and-black, but occasionally royal blue and white) and a set of metallic blue dogtags about her neck as her only jewelry. Castle always has a gold-plated cigarette case either in hand or in her pocket, but instead of being surrounded by the lingering stench of tobacco, the light aroma of cannabis, lavender, and lemonbalm trails in her wake.

Visible more often than not, a tattoo of an Asian dragon wraps Castle's right forearm from the tufted tailtip just above her elbow down to where the dragon's head covers the back of her hand, leaving very little actual flesh visible between the deep purple and black coils inked into her skin. A less ornate tattoo stretches from shoulder to shoulder across her back, a single thick line of black ink depicting the upper edge of a castle silhouette: not a fairy-tale demesne with pointed turrets and delicate little flags, but the crenellated battlements of an impenetrable fortress. The smallest tattoo in her collection, a side-by-side pair of roughly thumbprint-sized solid-black diamonds, is etched just beneath her left collarbone, in clear view.

Mech Notes: A one-off from the standard Griffin, "Rook" sports custom armor baffles and unique styling of the sort that one might expect to see coming out of Solaris VII, if he was painted in something more flashy than the mottled shades of gray and green and tan that coat him in a sort of ghetto, catchall camo paint scheme. Carrying the Vandals' insignia on his right shoulderplate, the Griffin has his own logo on the left: a white rook chesspiece on a black shield, the two insignias the only part that look to be regularly reapplied. The rest of the Griffin's paint is heavily scratched and scraped, worn away to the shiny metal underneath on the corners and the edges, indicative of more time in the field than in the paint booth. '城堡'*, looks to have been spray-painted across the Griffin's cheek in sky blue.

Also, she loves her truck:
