KNOWN POWERS -

Subject is an Omega Level human mutant with the genetic ability to link with, reprogram and communicate telepathically with any machine, robot, computer or cybernetic system near instantly. He has a near limitless eidetic memory and capacity for rapidly learning advanced technologies and controlling them remotely or by reprogramming them with an independent artificial intelligence. Subject "makes machines come to life," with his mind, and has demonstrated sufficient power to bypass even 32nd Century computer security systems.

HISTORY -

The mutant known as Glitch is the youngest grandson of Hungarian dissidents that escaped the 1956 Soviet invasion of Hungary into the Carpathian Mountains in the northern border region of Latveria. From this time until the assumption of the Latverian throne by Victor Von Doom, the Janosfi family were involved in several cross-border guerilla skirmishes into Communist Hungary, sometimes with covert support from the Symkarian monarchy and the Roman Catholic Church. After Doom took over Latveria, the politically radicalized Janosfi family turned their attentions towards overthrowing Doom's "forced monarchy." Young Miklos Janosfi, who had demonstrated great mathematical aptitude as a child discovered his mutant ability to communicate with and reprogram computers and machines during an encounter with Latverian Guardian Robots sent by Doom to purge his resistance camp leaders hiding in the mountains of the southern Latveria / Symkaria / Hungary triple-border region following a short-lived coup in which Zorba Fortunov had regained the throne of Latveria and ruled as a despot. Although the Janosfi family and their fellow resistance fighters were not a part of Zorba's coup, they were caught up in the backlash Doom unleashed against political enemies once he re-established himself to the throne. Damage done to Latveria's automated security network was officially blamed upon Reed Richards' assistance to Zorba, which provided adequate cover for the damage Glitch had done getting his family's records purged to affect their escape to Symkaria and from there, dispersion into the world at large under assumed identities.

Miklos Janosfi continued his para-military and cyber-warfare training with various Symkarian intelligence and mercenary security services, often doing behind-the-scenes covert work for Silver Sable's Wild Pack even as Symkarian and Latverian relations improved.

Glitch's history becomes a Nexus Event at some point when he stole and accessed a TVA Minuteman's Tempad and began a crime spree across several timelines. He was eventually tricked by Miss Minutes and Agent Mobius into travelling to the medieval past of a parallel timeline without technology where he was apprehended and sentenced to 956 million years of community service in the Chronopolis headquarters of the TVA, where he now works as a janitor.

Glitch is responsible for the reprogramming and upgrading of the Octodroid weapon system of Terminated Reality Earth-6850, now in the TVA Impound Lot see TVA case file TRN-O6850

PERSONALITY -

At first glance, the athletically built Latverian ex-patriate looks more like a rugged commando gone glam than a computer nerd, but that is probably his best description. His affinity for machines and computers is matched only by his cautious paranoia of them, as well as what can be done by those that control them.

Ultimately, he views both machines and people as tools in a greater world order - a world order he does not particularly like as an anarchist / mercenary and mutant. Although his skills are well-suited to electronic espionage and sabotage missions for the highest bidder, the survivalist in him is not above using his powers to quietly command an ATM to spit out cash or cause a guided missile to arm and detonate itself in an ammo depot, anything to force a healthy fear of reliance on machines by governments. Something of a quirky conspiracy theorist, and psychologically altered by many mergings of his mind with multimedia systems and computer networks, Glitch is often hyper and fidgety when he's not using his cyberpathic powers or focusing his concentration on a task.

Glitch is a incorrigible prankster, prone to getting involved in games of one-upmanship with other hackers in cyberspace. This personality quirk was exploited by Agent Mobius M. Mobius and Miss Minutes who supplied the subject with a corrupted Tempad in order to capture and arrest him in the act of accessing the TVA Timedoor Network.

It is likely he would return to a life of extra-temporal crime if his memories were restored and he regained access to time travel technology.
