The Sacred Multiverse (Classic Marvel Super Heroes)
The Sacred Multiverse is a cosmic-level (i.e. dimension-hopping, time travelling, possibly universe destroying) high-powered superhero setting in a adjacent corner of the multiverse close enough to be recognizably Marvel Comics / MCU but a bit more gritty and brutal in tone (think The Boys or Invincible) and able to answer questions like "What if a fully enraged Hulk smashed you in the face?" (Answer: Pieces of gore and bits of blood and flesh will eventually land somewhere miles away, so maybe bob and weave and duck that if you're fragile...)The game will be powered by imagination, but governed by the Rule of Cool and the out-of-print Advanced Marvel Superheroes RPG released by TSR in the 1980s and 1990s. There are several retro-clones out there with various levels of faithfulness to the originsl rules set, but the original books you'll need to create a character are available for download online.Links to download those will be in the RTJ - character creation post.
