The year is 1200. You completed your apprenticeship in the not-too-distant past. You are looking for a home and have been invited to Bejaia by Gaius of Tytalus, a renowned Calliclean. For some reason of your own, you are willing to move beyond the normal borders of the Order. Maybe you are running from a bad reputation. Maybe you seek adventure. Maybe you need a secretive place to conduct some research. Etc. Whatever your personal reason, you accepted the invitation and have set out to arrive in Bejaia to become a founding member of his new covenant, what sounds like hopefully a good enough tradeoff to accepting an offer from a Tytalus.
