Backstory: English expat and former pro-wrestler, the direction of Lauren Black’s life was forever changed after she received superpowers from a bootleg sports drink. Her career having stalled since traveling to the States she drifted, applying her newly-enhanced physical abilities to a range of different disciplines: MMA, parkour, free climbing. She settled first as a personal trainer and then full-on fitness influencer, and between her look and ever-more extreme demonstrations of her ability the Modern-Day Amazon was born. Crime-fighting was never meant to fall under her umbrella, but when footage of her running down a mugger went viral it was just another avenue to explore. Why not give the people what they want…
