When people look at Johann von Fulda they see:
--Obviously a knight-- he's in better shape than most and he's got armor and a horse and carries a sword and stuff (his shield bears a portcullis (protection in time of emergency) on a maroon (sanguine) background).
--Slightly pale-- maybe prays indoors more than average
--Reddish-brown hair, shaven face
--On the handsome-ish side

When they get to know him slightly more, he seems: devout, sincere. Smarter than you'd expect. (Smarter than he looks?)

His horse's name is Gunther. Gunther is trained for battle, but just barely. Gunther likes children (there was probably one or two who gave him carrots or something when he was a foal)
