Titania is a Faerie and the Queen of the Summer Court. She is the Lady of Light and Life, the Queen of the Evergreen, the Lady of Flowers.

As the Summer Queen, Titania is one of the most powerful fae. She and Mab are between about 1,000 and 2,000 years old— older than the Battle of Hastings, but younger than Nicodemus, the sometimes-leader of the Order of the Blackened Denarius.

Just as beautiful and daunting, Titania is Mab's identical twin sister. Regardless, there is a stark difference between the two. Where Mab appears cold and distant, Titania appears warm. Of course, that's not to say that they don't share the same temper. Death may not be Titania's purview, but she has proven that she is very willing to take out her anger on those who offend her and her charges.

While Mab's inherent purpose is to guard the Outer Gates, to keep the Outsiders at bay, Titania's inherent purpose is to be a check to Mab's power.

It is her duty to keep Mab's power in check, and vice versa. She does not have Mab's numerical superiority of forces but she can still destroy her, and Mab knows it. In turn, it's Mab's job to protect the border from Outsiders—to protect reality.

The sisters are relatively equal in power for the most part, their power differing seasonally. The power of each of the Queens waxes and waning with their season- Titania's strength waning after Midsummer, while Mab's strength wanes after Midwinter.
