You don't know Jack

Backstory:

Lantern is perhaps the most unassuming of the Jacks, despite Frost's valiant effort to blend in to human society. While he is not the most relatable or likable of the four brothers, he is a natural at going unnoticed when he chooses to do so- not even through the use of glamours, just his own talent for not leaving a memorable impression when he doesn't want to.

The most notable thing about Lantern, that sets him apart from his brothers in appearance, is what seems to be stitches tattooed all the way around the base of his neck. He also has a few other tattoos here and there, to draw attention away from that one, but, they don't last long with his healing factor- even if he intentionally delays it, they fade within a few years time, until they have to be replaced with new ones.

As the eldest of the Brothers Jack, as well as the strongest by far, the other three consider him to be in charge- mostly because they don't want to take the weight of that responsibility on themselves. Lantern reluctantly accepted the role, but it is quite rare that he takes it seriously. For the most part, the brothers act independently.

Lantern has had many names in the past- Stingy Jack, the Pumpkin King and the Headless Horseman, just to name a few. More often than not, he has been depicted as a harbinger of death, an omen that few heed in modern times.

Jack O'Lantern is a melancholic and frightening being, forever caught in the transition from life to death. He has often been compared to beings such as the fictional Grim Reaper.

Connections:

Autumn Court - Jack O'Lantern has always affiliated himself with Autumn and its court, working as a peer alongside the various Kings that have come and gone throughout the centuries.

The Brothers Jack - His three younger brothers, all of which he loves dearly, even if they do get on his nerves.
