Crowns of Uzinfell

Millenia ago, as the Creator spent all of their essence to create the world, their children battled for dominion of it. Long was this war, thousands of deities were slain, until only two remained. The Primordial Titan, Uzinfell, and the Solar Warden, Helios. After a bitter struggle, Helios won and rose ascendant to the sky. Gripped by jealousy, Uzinfell desperately tried to go after. This amused Helios, and the Solar Warden lifted his defeated sibling up, imprisoning him in the heavens and forcing him to forever gaze down upon creation. Uzinfell would see the prize he fought for, but would never be able to touch or claim dominion over their progenitor's work again.

..Or will he? (dramatic music).

Hello!
In this game the players will take on the roles of Crownbearers, Uzinfell's mortal champions, and attempt to bring the Primordial Titan back into the world. The PCs will be the nazgûl to his Sauron, the Deatheaters to his Voldemort, or the Forsaken to his Dark One.

In essence, it is a game using the standard Chosen One narrative, but we turn in on it's head and instead of following the Chosen One's struggle to stop the Big Bad from returning, we're the focusing on all the hard work the Big Bad's lieutenants do that always seems to go unappreciated.

The game will be sandboxy and light on the rules. There will be mechanics, but their exact workings will be hidden to most (or all) players. The PCs will be spread out over the world, but there will be times when their paths cross in their quests, and they will hear about each other's activities. There will also be a sort of dream-state where PCs can interact freely. There will be a strategy element to the game, so some managing of resources is to be expected, although I don't think it will be very complex from the player-side.
