Welcome, to the mystical realms that lay only beyond the veil of reality and dreams.  To worlds who host the grand adventures of myth and legend.  Where intrigue uncovers the secrets of existence and the mysteries beyond.  To the place baring high tales of fantasy and explorations of science, both crafted as mere commonplace.  One benefiting those who hold a strategic mind and a silver tongue to keep oneself or many safe in the scandals and dramas of both the celestial and abyssal.  Here all is laid bare and manipulated by the powers that be and are!  At your fingertips lay the energies of life and death itself where the winds, earths, and oceans can bend to your will as easily as the strands of fate them self.

Take control as a woken dreamer from gnosis, one birthed in the waters of the cosmic energies of creation and destruction alike.  A reflection of everything and nothing in both the grand macro and miniscule micro scopes.  Seedlings of the great world tree Saryndriel, as children of the universe itself born through theogenesis as a God or Devil charged with bringing forward your whims.  Whether that be to serve others or yourself, you are one among many cosmic entities both young and old.  Take helm of each your home realms, a budding branch tall upon the world tree among many others in a universe only just reaching adulthood.  This is personal place crafted by the distant dreams of your divine birthing.  Lead your hand-crafted flock of mortals, pale reflections of self, into eternity or desolation as pleased whether terrorized or uplifted.  Uncover the swirling secrets and knowledge of reality, take your place among the divines!  Whether this bores or excites you matters little.  Will you ride the winds of creation to chisel your dreams and whims into the oceans of the void and existence, will they be the undoing of so many others, or will you fail and fall into obscurity with the rest of the broken dreams of the dead.

However now your controlled divinities are left far in the future along their divine paths.  Whatever they may have been, there are now inexonerably and inexplicitly interrupted to a grinding halt.  You were slain and destroyed again and again, left dissolving to subsume in a void of darkness.  An irrefutable and now hazy nightmare as you reawaken again.  Your previous existence as a whole was but a foggy memory, finding oneself as a strange and new being distant from your previous incarnation.  However you were not alone, sitting among many others each on a silken pillow around a matching red wooden table within an unremarkably celestial teahouse made of pristine marble and wooden craftsmanship.  A place that was throne to a fellow divinity, Loxus, a Supreme Goddess of Reincarnation and Redemption.  She sat as sole host to this unconventional tea party.  Laid before each upon a white cloth atop the table was a now empty black-lacquered teacup, one which once held the famed tea of rebirth.  Its scent was fresh on the lips, a taste reminiscent on one's tongue and pallet.  Each of you were given one last chance to walk among divinity in exchange for your memories.  Sadly, the ghosts of the past still haunted each of you, as this divine tea was made for mortal souls to consume and not those of a higher station such as oneself.



This is one of many differing Theogenesis games, taking place within its own separate setting, history, and list of characters.  I'm not the originator to the Theogenesis game's first concept or the bulk of the previous games and systems that came before this one.  Instead this a personal derivative inspired by and using in conjunction some of the game's several systems for my own varied campaign to take life in change with each of you for the quite broken imbalance of divines.  In respect to the several GMs that I have taken inspiration from along with using parts of their systems, I most graciously thank and appreciate Talon, Pvnq12, & Myrddin Emyr.  With out any of these wonderful GMs, I would not be here today much less hosting a Theogenesis game of my own.  Again I thank you each from the very deepest parts of my heart for always putting up with my hi-jinxes as a player underneath you and helping make such memorable and fun stories that I will never forget and hold dearly.  Theogenesis: Rebirth like its predecessors shall be an unfolding narrative driven game with progression marks following each of your characters and solo campaigns as they unfold both together and separately, where you shall learn to work alone and/or alongside others.  In nature there are allies and foes alike, this is beholden to the divine especially and their pantheons.  A nature including our own cast of characters' clashes, so separate those feelings of your character from that of you as a player while we write together for an enjoyable and live story.

The driving aspect of this game's custom setting is that you will be pitching two differing or similar characters.  One which you will play at birth among your people and realm who will then march forward through time without you.  The other is their later reincarnation who will take their place after ages past their disappearance.  The later is your main character of play as they return to existence to restart their saga anew both more powerful and vulnerable than ever after expending all three of their immortal lives and experiencing their fourth and final death.  Holding onto the belief that they only hold now a single immortal existence left keeps for a higher stakes game at first.  Swirling around them are the secrets of their reincarnations, previous lives, the other side of death and life for one who circumvented their last departure, lastly that of Saryndriel and its histories both old and new.  There may be writing experiences that hail you to take helm of your previous character incarnations as you uncover memories and secrets of the previous life as well.  Going from the once young adult world tree to the now grand standing mature one, your branch has gone from the top of its reaches to a low middling place surrounded by many anew.  Bringing to bare the question what happened to both your realms and mortals who went on without their divine host?  Many dizzying paths and questions will now be laid before each with your divine's unceremonious rebirth.
