Stars at War will be a strategy game in the style of Play-By-Mail (PBM) games from the 1990s and earlier, using a custom system built from the ground up by the GM, which will continually grow and evolve in response to player ideas and actions. What is published in the rules threads, is not necessarily the whole and entire range of possibilities; some will be hidden from players at first. Some may not even exist, until a player asks "Can I ____?"
Target turn frequency is once per week, but slower games are possible (if enough players request a slow game).
Each game can accommodate between 3 and 8 players.
