MASKS Hero High
The high school life sucks. School's harder, the teachers aren't as fun, and the stakes are higher. Your friends change, some for the better and some not so much. You change, and usually in the most uncomfortable and inconvenient times possible. People expect more out of you, like an adult, but don't actually trust you like one. All the while, between the driving lessons, midterms, and first dates, you get the vague sense that things are going to get even worse when you're older.And than, there's the elephant in the room. Your Mask, your powers, your second life. The highs are even higher, no doubt about that, but it's even more stressful than being a normal kid. Dress shopping for homecoming takes a backseat when the Golden Circle is tearing it up in town.
Thankfully, you have some help. You're a student in a special school, built by Masks, run by Masks (mostly), and operated for young Masks such as yourself. It doesn't fix everything; cliques still happen, bullying still occurs at times, and there will always be homework. But, at the very least, you've got some good friends to get through this with, and that's tough to beat.
