Cyberpunk 2077: The City Always Wins
Hey chooms. Late 2077, the attack on Arasaka tower, the deaths of Saburo and Hanako Arasaka, and rumours of a Johnny Silverhand AI free on the Net are part of yesterday's newsfeed. Arasaka, under Yorinobu Arasaka, and Militech are squaring up for a fight and everyone is wondering if this war could end everything. But Night City is the place that never sleeps and a new band of wannabe solos and runners are rising up, aiming to take the place of the famous names that have come before, rake in the eddies in the midst of chaos, and write their own history... maybe get their own drink at the Afterlife someday. But not today.
This is intended as a low-level, localized game using the Cyberpunk RED system in Night City in 2077. It will focus, at least initially, on getting by in the neighbourhood in which you all grew up together, and to which those who tried to leave are now returning. You'll be making your own way, which isn't to say that events happening elsewhere won't impact your lives. The game will be open world in that players will be expected to contribute to fleshing out the neighbourhood and the world while I present opportunities for them to get rich, get famous and stay alive... it's up to you to decide the priority of those.
The content in the game relies heavily on material that is copyrighted to the producers of the Cyberpunk 2077 game, but also includes material extending that which belongs to this game's author, plus material created by the players involved in this game.
The game is rated Adult for language, nudity, consumption of alcohol, discussions of illegal drugs and drug use, graphic violence, potential criminal activity, managed descriptions of extreme content on braindance recordings, and encounters with dolls that might be best described as dubious consent. Adherence to RPOL ToS is expected at all times.
