Flint Fireforge

Flint is, quite obviously, a gold dwarf. Like all of Moradin's people, he is built stout and tough, standing two inches over four feet in height and at one-hundred-ninety pounds, he is a formidable presence. He moves like most of his kin, but his gruff and off-putting nature wound be more at home among the shield dwarves like his twin sister, Amber (whose amicability, conversely, seems more like that of a gold dwarf). His long brown hair has already begun to lighten to gray.

His antisocial tendencies are likely due to his feeling more at home among the forges than among people. Many of the Deep Folk are similarly called, and Flint answered. His hands and skin show the tell-tale signs of frequent firework, but the results are beyond contestation. The chain mail and shield he wear are of his own making, while his warhammer and clan dagger were a gift from Amber. Unlike many of the Stout Folk, he keeps his beard neatly trimmed (because he nearly burned it off once).

Whereas Amber's faith was drawn to Gorm Gulthyn, the defensive-leanings of the Lord of the Bronze Mask was too passive for Flint. One would think he would find kinship in the teachings of Clangeddin Silverbeard of even Haela Brightaxe, but his holy symbol shows that he managed to combine his faith and his passion in Tharmekhûl. The Tender of the Forge is multifaceted indeed, as a god of fire as an engine of creation, a weapon of destruction, and a tempering purifier. It is this aspect that marks him as a god of war.
