Description/Appearance: Nuke looks like your everyday Dwarf - helm and armor, beard and axe, gruff and uncommunicative

Background: Nuke Windhelm hails from Nerakern, the Hill Dwarf stronghold in the Headlands of Onnwal. The Windhelms have traditionally been doughty, formidable warriors, not noted for their intellectual fortitude, and Nuke is no different (some say 'Windhelm' refers to a rare Dwarven artifact, most say it refers to the fact that the wind blows straight through their skulls because there is so little inside). Though not a fool, he is not exactly sharp, and anyone who dares to enter a conversation with him will soon come to regret it - there's not much going on here, and there will be endless delays and pauses while the gears in Nuke's brain slowly grind.

Still, the Windhelms are fierce warriors who fear nothing. Not trusted with anything important, they have come to find their worth in what some call 'lesser' skills, like woodworking and cabinet making. Nuke is an artisan with wood, a natural, moulding and shaping it to whatever he wishes (without any need for thought). He can often be found with a spare piece of wood in hand, shaping and carving with his pocket knife, and seems happiest in those moments. But he has apprenticed himself to an armorer, and has some knowledge of the techniques involved.

Nuke has been tasked with an important mission by his clan chief and high priest, to "seek the enlightenment of Moradin, God of Dwarves." Whether this is an actual thing or an excuse to get the dull-witted Nuke out of the way for a number of years, is anyone's guess. Nuke was sent with a trade caravan to Scant, and through a series of conversations with exasperated dwarves found himself put on the first dwarf-bearing ship out of the port, to Greyhawk city. However, the ship stopped at Hardby first and Nuke got off there, mistaking one for the other, and some kind marines suggested he take his axe and use it against the hordes of orcs that continually bothered the Wild Coast, and so Nuke found himself in Narwell. And so his quest continues, while orc-bashing awaits.
