Setting:Your characters will all reside in the city of Pre-Bastet, in the Kingdom of Nuria Natal (based on ancient Egypt). Nuria Natal was founded over 5000 years ago by several families, who found out how to use the magic of its leylines and waters to gain near divinity. They ruled as God Kings and Queens and are interred after they die. Given their nature, there are rituals that can reawaken them if Nuria Natal is threatened.
Gods are commonplace in Nuria Natal and it's entirely possible to meet one, or their servants. Pre-Bastet, unsurprisingly, is seen as the city of Bastet. There are a lot of cats and felines of all types, along with a good number of Gnolls and feline lycanthropes.
