Lord Dante Bellacqua

Lord Dante Bellacqua is a noble man in his early 30s. He is tall, standing at around 6'2 and with a muscular build that compliments his height. His hair is dark and slick, usually combed to his left side and his eyes are pale gray. When he does crack a smile and lets his guard down it's a smile that cuts like a knife. The noble usually wears clothes that fit his appropriate station although he makes sure that the clothes he wears is sturdy and ready for the desert wilderness. At his left hip rests an ornate longsword, his favourite weapon, and on his right hip he carries a dagger. Dante carries a dark memento around his neck, a necklace made from the finger bones of enemies Lord Dante has defeated in single combat, only the best fighters he has bested gets their finger bone attached to his necklace. When Dante isn't in the safety of his House's home, the Il Mercato, he wears a custom made armor that consists mostly of plate but also chainmail underneath and in the more flexible areas of his body, naturally it is also padded for comfort. His armor is ornate and detailed, marking him as a special individual to accentuate his noble standing. Dante usually wears golden rings on every finger besides his thumbs. They all carry expensive gem stones, mostly rubies, and he only takes them off if he knows combat is about to occur.

The reputation Lord Dante has is a fearsome one. Besides his given name, the nickname Bloodfalcon is one that he is called by almost just as much. Although his family and House is mostly made up of merchants and traders, that's not who Dante is. When he was a mere teenager Dante had proven himself to be a fierce and skilled combatant. His father, Prince Orsino, granted the boy an important position for the House, namely as a pathfinder and protector of the caravans they escorted. Dante escorted and protected the Bellacqua caravans for several years and as he grew older, he became more dangerous thanks to the battle experience he gained fighting everything from bandits to monstrosities. As he traveled through the lands of Arth Dante also recruited plenty of mercenaries to serve him and the Bellacqua House. Dante holds them in high regard and maintains control over them with a ruthless discipline. Although not an official mercenary company given that they serve Dante the people who know of them have given them the name the Iron Merchants. Dante is the man who found the oasis that is about to turn House Bellacqua from a small merchant House into a powerful player in the city of Tyr.
