Rurik

Rurik is a stocky and muscular Dwarf, with broad shoulders and a barrel chest.  His brown hair cut short, with a long, forked and braided beard.  His features are rough and craggy, and his hands scarred from heavy work.  Dressed in blacks and reds, with heavy black boots and a stout black leather belt.  A sturdy battleaxe hangs from his right hip, and a saex rests in its' sheath on the left front of his waist, behind his pouch.  When dressed for combat, he wears black leather armor with steel joints, an oval shield, and is covered in chain mail, and a quiver full of javelins.
   When he speaks, his voice is a deep, resonant baritone.
