2184. The Oil Wars have given rise to the Colony Wars. While the 3WE, UPP and UA all vie for dominance, a fourth entity has risen to cause problems for all three governments through wiping out entire colonies and planets. Feeling as if they aren't getting adequate protection, the colonies themselves are rising up and rebelling against the corporations and the governments.It is a time of chaos and unrest. Yesterdays enemies can become todays allies and a week from now be back to firing nukes at each other. The UA is spread thin across all fronts, trying to hold onto what they have. The 3WE is trying to stem the bleeding from so many colonies rising up against them. The UPP is suffering from the loss of able bodied and skilled workers who have fled for the ICSC or UA for a shot at a new life.
No one knows when or where the so called "Border Bombers' will strike next. Tensions are high. Something has to give.
