In the hey day of his youth Tranth was quite the noble scoundrel, he romanced beautiful women, he fought dastardly foes, and he righted wrongs. In that time Christine was born, and was proud of his first born daughter, pride was strong no matter what gender his children are.

The mystic warned him none of his male heirs would rule Bloodstone, viewing this as a threat he kept in mind. Her words turned out to be true. Daphne died from complications of a fever, taking their child with her. A diviner told him would have been a boy had he lived, he lamented the loss of his wife and son. He was haunted by it for a time. Christine, stepped up and helped him with everything, it was during a visit from a noble family from ilmpetuer. That he met his second and current wife-Eldora.

He had to be clear even if they were to have children his boys could not and would not rule Bloodstone, she agreed to this not aware of what he assumed was a curse, until much later in their marriage. He is the father of Dorian and Darrin and his beloved daughter Christine.
