Racquel is the other barmaid at the Inn, she is stunningly beautiful with skin the shade of mocha and a warm smile, her hair is long and curly and she stands out in the tavern as a true beauty. Unlike Carlotta she is not easy, she doesn't view wealth as the biggest draw in life, she wants to be happy. Racquel has a daughter who is only a few months old, she is bothered by the child, because she woke up with a strange man she did not recognize and the baby was born nine months later. She had previously been uninterested in relationships, and she remains mostly uninterested now.

She isn't sure how people would take to a woman, unwed with a child. Her son is Raul. She pulls long hours to make sure he has everything he needs. A dotting mother and an excellent provider. She and Raul live in the Inn on the top floor. The town midwife baby sits for her while she is working.
