Tavon Baelern

Tavon Baelern stands tall at 6'6" in height, just north of average among Snow Elven men. He is slender and lithe and carries himself as light and gracefully as though he was walking on air. His hair is short and windswept, as white as fresh-fallen snow. Tavon's eyes are pure white orbs to match. His skin is pale with a healthy complexion. Most would consider him strangely attired for a swordsman. Few would even recognize what he wears as even being armor. A complex weaving of royal blue cloth strips laced together in such a way that they move and sway with his every motion. The only thing resembling conventional armor are the polished dastana affixed to his forearms. He carries three swords on his person. An elven lightblade sheathed at his waist on the right hip with an elven thinblade and an elven courtblade sheathed as a shallow cross on his back. The grip of the courtblade is above his right shoulder and the grip of the thinblade above the left. Aside from his swords, he also has a composite longbow but he doesn't always carry it on his person. Aside from his unusual and rare cloth armor, he favors practical attire. He dresses in various shades of blue and light grays. He wears slate gray boots that look well-worn from years of travel. Tavon is usually seen accompanied by a snowy owl with white feathers with grey tips. He calls the owl Kethin and often converses with it like he would a person. He treats Kethin like one would a brother. |
Personality |
Tavon is a focused and quietly passionate individual. He values personal freedom and cares a great deal about what he feels to be right. He can seem a bit cool or distant at times, but that comes from being raised a Snow Elf in a rather isolated ice city in the frozen north. Not to mention he was always more quick to devote time to his skill with a blade than his social skills. Something which he is not shy about expressing as he almost always seems ready to test his blade against a fellow swordsman. While not an arrogant man, he can sometimes come off as a bit cocky. He is a very brave individual that doesn't hesitate to help when he sees someone in need. He takes special exception when he sees someone strong abusing that against the weak, or when someone terribly mistreats an animal. Tavon has a strong fondness for animals, especially owls, evidenced by his constant companion Kethin. |
