The Wars of Radiance

The Khoravar nation marshaled their forces. They had a fleet of seventy-six battlecruisers and thirty-one system defence platforms. Their fighters swarmed the system and numbered in the hundreds, each squadron trained in a lifetime of combat. They were a formidable force and would give pause to any Great Power seeking to invade.

Even so, this was not enough to withstand the lone Quori knight.

Premise: Far from the bright centers of civilisation, the scions of a noble Quori household must navigate the perils of the galaxy's frontiers, the region a powder keg of factional wars, hidden conspiracies, and ancient horrors. Natives of Vohrin Prime, the Quori themselves were a humanoid species of incredible physiology, each individual possessing immense physical strength, speed, durability, flight, and other superhuman powers. Many of the noble Houses possessed unique abilities of their own still.

In an age of great turmoil, within the arm of planetary systems known as Thessia's Wheel, the High King of the Quori mustered a great host of knights and they swept through the galaxy in a Radiant Crusade. Vast fleets of starships coordinated by their psionic overlords clashed against hosts of Quori knights throughout the Wheel. Lost technology was revived from the long-dead tombs of ancient civilizations. Whole volumes of space fell to ruin and destruction.

Thus began the Wars of Radiance.

Notes: This game's premise is built upon the idea the the players are all members of a Kryptonian-like species in a Game of Thrones-esque space opera setting. This game is intensely character-driven, so I'm looking for well-drawn characters from players who are heavily invested in the story of the game.

System: Over the years, I've developed the minimal RPG system, a home-brewed system that I use in play-by-post games. Its virtues are that it's very minimal and doesn't get in the way of telling a good story, but most importantly, it allows players to play the kinds of characters they want to play.
