Gather Post Ludum

Magnus may not know of this delightful tradition. Many a player has realized he's toast when he looks and sees a thread with "X" which is his post and Post Ludum.  Its where I ask what was good, what was bad, any thoughts, smart aleck comments....about that particular game world.

But finally everyone has left the Dragonhunt and the Temple of the Dying Sun. (Feel free to go buy it at Lulu.com if you like. It will be found under ToDS, I suppose.) So this is a good place to do the Gather Post Ludum.

And its also a good place to blame Mentat for any mistakes or bad things that happened in that world as he was my co-editor.

Re: Gather Post Ludum

I liked it a lot. I got a very Baldur's Gate-esque feeling of the place. When I figure out how to misuse Krillis' gate spell thingie to hop around as I please I'm going to go back and live there for a couple of hundred years.

Battling Krillis in his mind in order to save his soul was a lot of fun, and being left alone with Lucas - the two most cowardly party members on their own, yikes - was amusing.

Also, I liked not dying until the very end - but then again I usually like not dying.

I liked it too. I can't believe I didn't get the riddle (Who made it up, you or Mentat?)

And here are Magnus's last words and actions after being commanded to give the chi up.
"Give it up,eh? ... ok. KameHADOKEN!!!"
And he fires the beam up

Re: Gather Post Ludum

Um, I'll leave that to Oak. The reason is that would qualify as learning a very powerful skill....granted there would be the prerequisite of soaking in a truly massive amount of chi first to activate the skill, but still, handing out 'Destroy three hundred feet by fifty feet by fifty feet cube by shattering it into dust' skills....

Still, a most clever request. You get a brownie point for that alone.

OK, I know I was not involved in this at all, but that comment right there...

That one had me rolling. I would like to read this story. Which thread is the gather referenced here?

Re: Gather Post Ludum

Is this the gather where Hadrian miscast a water spell and got turned into a blob of water? If so, I thought that was an awesome idea for a botch!
