[GAME] Players Wanted

I'll kick things off with a series of openings across several of my games:

The Cormyr Crisis:
link to another game

Looking for a player to pick up Lala Raginstorm - a slightly sadistic but overall good natured cleric to Tymora.

Kingmaker:
link to another game

Looking for a player to pick up Garath, the fey-touched sorcerer.

Just shoot me PMs for those games and I can add you as a lurker so you can look through the threads. The first game is a custom game set in Forgotten Realms, the second is my interpretation of the Kingmaker adventure path.

Hey guys, figured I would started a pathfinder game to get my feet wet since I use the PRD for info I don't currently have.

The game is Naver - Age of Heroes Campaign (non-mature/adult) The setting is home made world, using the gods of Naver (been years since I made my own gods and a bit rusty), I'm interested in seeing where we can take things. If anyone is interested follow the link below.

PS: Its a Mummy's Mask campaign set in Osirion, btw.

Position filled. Cheers friends.

[GAME] Players Wanted

I took over a Carrion Crown game for another GM who had to quit, and one of the players dropped out, who was playing a Female Dwarf Cleric of Pharasma.  I'd like someone to take her over while we're inside the current dungeon (just started exploring Harrowstone Prison, not far into Book 1), and they could either keep playing her or bring in a new character.

[GAME] Players Wanted

I have several games running now, but I will only post the ones that have open slots:

Ptolus Delver's Guild  link to another game
This is a city 20% dungeon 80% other 10% (us delvers give 110% effort) campaign with two (so far) parties. It is open for other parties if someone wants to help DM it, which would open the possibility for party interaction. Currently need 2 players to take over existing roles of LEAD character in both parties (leader in both skills/abilities sets and actual authority in-game over the teams). And I have one regular slot non-leader role (doesn't have to take over existing character). PATHFINDER, lot of optional books in use.

Vignettes: Bite Size Gaming link to another game
A d20-Lite Short-Form Role-Playing Community
quote:
vi·gnette
vinˈyet
noun
plural noun: vignettes
1.
a brief evocative description, account, or episode.

Vignettes is a rules-light playground for short "one-shot" scenes and adventures for 1 to 3 players per team. Designed to have lots of active players and GM's at the same time, for short episodic type adventures rather than ongoing campaigns. Stuff like, you have a quick 2 or 3 room encounter you want to test out. Or you have a good idea for a campaign but want to test run it for a bit. Or you have a short published adventure you always wanted to try but never had a GM for. D20 systems used in a "lite" way, could be D20 Modern, D&D, Pathfinder, True-20, or something else more appropriate to the vignette.

YOU pick the STORY, YOU pick the GENRE, YOU pick the PLAYERS. Solo, Doubles, or Threesomes are preferred, but I'm not totally against a slightly larger party. Why? Because of game speed. The more players you add to a vignette, the longer it is going to take to finish. The vignettes, they stand alone, in their own little "cosmoverse", so they can really be anything. You can move your characters from vignette to vignette, or you can make up new ones each time. Any genre or theme is allowed (Mature, no Adult Only themes).

I'm opening a good-aligned sister game to No Rest For The Wicked. Holding Out For A Hero is all about goodish-aligned Vigilantes who are fighting the rising crime in the Capitol and surrounding metro area. Applications will be more judiciously gone through than No Rest, as I'm only looking for a smaller group of players.

Please read the Setting information

[GAME] Players Wanted

Though i give this another shot.  I made it bit more clear what I looking for.
So at moment it player / Co-gm.  If people help me out I also look for normal player so.

I am looking for few player to become Co-Gm.

What I looking for with Co-GM.

1) A Co-Gm will join the game as a player.  We will set up a character for you.
You will learn how to play your character which I will help you with.
You will keep your character even when you become a GM.
You play your character for 2 month at least.  This will give you an idea how the game work.

2) Once your happy with how the game works I will make you a GM.
You will then take on roll of looking after two players.
These player will be experience player in the game (2 month in game) so they know what they are doing.  You will not have to teach them the game.
What this will involve is looking at the player post.
Working out what the player gain from rolls or if they failed.  Also working out exp they get.
You then up date the players character sheet with exp and characters item list with what they gain.
I will help you though this and will always be around to help you.

3) If your happy and the players are happy with you I add another 2 more player to your group.  There will be other thing you can take on or develop in game but that will be up to you.
If want add more player to your group then that fine to.
However at end of day I be happy with you just looking after 4 players.
As a GM your character will gain a small exp bonus based on number of player you
are looking after.

4) The following will give you idea of time needed.
It take about half an hour sort each player out and player only post twice a month normally.  If your away for month or two I will takes over your group NP.

I hope this make things clear and easier for people understand.
Also that job being GM in this game is not to much to handle.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Okay so not an actual pathfinder game in terms of setting but it does use the system.

The Defenders of Skalsturm is a steampunk and weird science game of nobles, intrigue, plagues and evil invaders.

For the setting you will be aristocrats of Skalsturm, a large city state, who are part of the various noble houses. Skalsturm and the other city states are being besieged by a species called the Uung though they are colloquially nicknamed Ug's or Raz's by the populace of Skalsturm. This species pushed the regular military back through the use of strange powers that completely destroyed the conventional tactics used by the military. The military was able to take a few Uung bodies back to Skalsturm for autopsy which lead to the discovery of what were effectively weaponised organs, these were then adapted by Skalsturm scientists and implanted into willing subjects. These people found great fame and fortune through various unbelievable exploits, and as such the noble houses jumped on this new trend. Soon after the scientists adapted the Uung organs the Uung poisoned the water supply and a virulent plague began to take hold of the populace of Skalsturm who were soon quarantined into the poor quarters of the city.

[GAME] Players Wanted

I have two available slots open in my longterm game. They are both 7th level characters. One is a buffed Hexblade. The other is a swashbuckler. The Hexblade is an Air Genasi with a Lady Death look to her, the other has channeled his inner Inigo Montoya with his absurdly long name. I will not accept original characters at this time. Nor will I accept alterations to the baseline information like race and class. The characters fit specific roles and purposes. Anyone who has stuck around for more than a year and been productive has been well rewarded for it.

You can expect to acquire loot, wealth, position, and oh yeah...levels. Basically the things you don't get in any other rpol game because the party doesn't mesh, encounters are all diplomacy based or take a year, or the DM flakes out, etc etc. This game has been strong through 5 years now. Nust sayin. Shoot me a pm for more details.

Updated from my above post.

I will take players to replace characters that have been abandoned over the years.

Currently available are...

-Kilgar Axeface: 10th level Orc Fighter, and he's a beast.  He's also a "House Orc" who hates orcs and likes humans.  Humans live in houses, sleep in beds, and collect treasure.  Orcs live in mud and straw huts, sleep in the dirt, and don't bathe.  Kilgar prides himself on 'being clean and respectable' with the occasional reminder that he is an orc.  Might makes right, and Kilgar is mighty.
-Evony Skatterhawk: 8th or 9th level Human [Air Elemental] Sorceress.  She's currently 2 steps away from the throne of Cormyr, and channels her inner Cersei Lannister + Stoner chick hedonist to flip between being a royal b*tch and sexy hot silly without realizing it.
-Azurabelle Vance: 7th level (no ECL) Air Genasi Hexblade, Rogue, or, I'm probably going to regret this... Magus.  The character's OP never finished making it through development.
-Hogan Redgate: 7th level Human Sharess Cleric.  Pimpin' ain't easy.  The character is a pimp.  He even uses a club (cane) as a weapon and wears a fur cloak.  The player hasn't really been involved, but the character was well played as a healer.  He's extremely well educated and is, at his core, still a cleric.
-T'rissylen Godelyl: 9th level Drow (no ECL) noble Fighter.  She mixes Ivy (Soul Calibure) with a whole lot of V:tM's Lucita to be a quiet, yet visually loud warrior.  She spent significant time on the surface before returning to the Underdark, only to have to flee years later during her house's destruction.  She requires some specific details to be shared.
-Minylene Godelyl: Miny is an 8th or 9th level Drow (again no ECL) noble Anti-Paladin of Loviatar.  She is one of the oldest and most powerful characters in the game, but her player has a regular habit for vanishing a month or two at a time.  We are constantly waiting on the player to post, and I'm beyond tired of things being held up.
-Hector the Longname: Hector is a 7th level Swashbuckler.  He hasn't had much time to develop, but the OP was channeling his inner Innigo Montoya.

The players that are currently associated with any of the characters have been put on notice that they will be replaced if they don't get their acts together and someone else wants to give the character a shot.  This is not the first, second, or third warning for any of them.

I am looking for players who are dedicated, will be happy to get a character that is pretty awesome (OP compared to other characters of the same class and level, trust me.  Ability scores were generated with 4d4+4 reroll 1s, and max HPs per level.), and who actually want to advance the story, complete quests, and grow even more powerful.  I am not at all interested in people who are flaky, who will be around for a month or two and then suddenly, RL means they can't play anymore, and wallflowers who have no intention of interacting with anyone, both OOC and IC.  I am not looking for OCs, or drastic changes (like class or race).

I've been doing this a long time.  Take a look.  I'm not going anywhere.  :)

Starfinder Society

Giving this a try, it will start off with a short quest that I expect we will finish in only a few weeks. No need to have played Starfinder before, though you will have to familiarize yourself with the rules (which are similar to but not the same as pathfinder rules) of the game as well as of the organized play mode that this will follow.

For the first game, I hope to find up to seven characters - but it can be completed with as few as three. Dropped out players can be replaced and empty seats can be filled for the second game (similarly a very short one) if we get to that.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Greetings and well met,

I run "A Dungeons & Dragons Gaming Community", which is located link to another game. I'm interested in connecting with Pathfinder players as well as those who play the 3.5 game edition. We have 4 GM's who run Pathfinder and 3.5 games. We've been on Rpol for 3 years with over 12,000 posts, so we aren't going anywhere.

There is a new Pathfinder game starting up at our game room, and that GM is looking for players. This game is called Darker Nights and is being setup by GM Unicursal.

There are other games seeking players, including a game I'm starting, but they are all 3.5 games.

If there are enough players seeking another Pathfinder game, I'm fully prepared to run Rise of the Runelords, and Kingmaker. I can also run any of the other adventures like Carrion Crown, but I'd need a week to get them set up.

I don't believe my other GM's utilize Roll20, but I do. I saw a thread on here that shows how to use it for mapping, but I go a step further and ask players, if all of them agree, to get an account. I like to use both websites to play my games. I have a Pro account so even if you use a mobile device, you'll be able to access the game map. This allows everyone to be able to move their avatars on the battle map which makes the game feel more like a tabletop game. You can also view handouts, and do other things. We've even held live games when everyone was able to come together. Note that using this isn't a requirement, but an option.

Drop by and give us a look over. Even if you don't see a game you want to play in our game room, you can still join us and become an Applicant. This status allows you access to the OOC threads, and game listings until you find a game you want to RTJ.

Thanks!

[GAME] Players Wanted

I have a longstanding game (6 years give or take a few months) that could use a few player to take over existing character's.

They are, Kilgar Axeface, a 10th level Orc Destroyer... I mean Fighter. He's a wrecking hammer. He is Lawful Evil, uses a maul, wears heavy armor, and is greedy. Kilgar has a firm belief that Might makes Right and he is Mighty! Kilgar is keenly intelligent, and resents other orcs because they are dumb barbarians that live in mud huts. Kilgar had a dwarf soldier turned merchant for a mentor, and as a result is extremely civilized (for a violent orc mercenary). He values wealth, lies to show it off, and values even more wealth. Kilgar also values discipline and order. He likes humans because they pay him a lot of gold to do what he is good at. He likes dwarves, too, because they are tough and know how to forge really high quality weapons and armor. He doesn't like elves because they are puny and wimpy. Kilgar is on a first name basis with most of the PCs and many NPCs. Believe it or not, he is by and large, liked by the other characters. Kilgar does not follow any of the gods. There was a storyline with him becoming a chanpion of death, but it moved on to another player after Kilgar went defunt last June. Kilgar has one enemy that gets the better of him on the regular, a Fire Giant warrior. So there is unfinished business there...

Next up, is Hector the Longname. Hector never really seen much play. He is currently 7th level. He is a swashbuckler, fencing type of character that comes off a lot like Indigo Montoya. He was working on becoming a captain of the police force and tracking down a vigilante BOX. He is Lawful Neutral, and dedicated to the God Tyr.

Azurabelle Vance is on the list. I haven't had luck keeping a player involved with her. I've gone through three or four. She is an 8th level Hexblade (that has had some class buffs to make the class on par with Pathfinder classes). She is a True Neutral Air Genasi who looks an awful lot like Lady Death, and is part of the Vigilante's entourage. She is a former madame from Zhentil Keep, has been to the underdark, and is now a bounty hunter. She predictably follows the elemental god of air.

And lastly, I have Evony Scatterhawk, a 9th level Air Elemental Sorceress. She is one of the original character's of the game. She is haughty, arrogant, and channels an inner Cersei Lannister. Nobody really knows whose side she is on. She is a sarcastableep, a duchess bent on getting the throne of Cormyr, and one of the founders of Fort Eastward. She is very powerful, politically, financially, and personally. In spite of being the one person everybody wants to see get eaten by a dragon, she is highly valued by the majority of NPCs. She is the only pure arcanist in the group. She is sexy, smooth, and an excellent talker. Evony is Lawful Neutral with an occasionally Neutral Evil disposition. She follows Oghma, the God of knowledge as a patron deity.

...

Now before anyone asks, no, I am not looking for original character's at this time.

Yes, we are all okay if they are not played exactly like they had been.

Yes, they are easily worked right back into the game.

No, I did not reveal all of their information.

And yes, some slight tweaking is okay for Evony and Kilgar. More moderate customization for Azurabelle and Hector is available.

PM me for details and interest. Only serious players willing to hang for the long haul please. I have been known for going days or even weeks without posting. I drive an 18-wheeler and am on the road for weeks at a time. I can't always keep things moving without a pause, but the game has been around for years now, just like me. I've been involved with RPOL since 04. It is my home page.

Thank you for your time.

Alright as discussed in the community chat I've set up a space where potential DMs and players can come together with experienced support to help grow the community:

link to another game

Right now we are looking for potential DMs only. Once they get firmly established we can open it up for players.

If you are an experienced DM looking to lend a helping hand message me privately and we can talk about what that would entail. Basically it's just things like "can you step in and help NPC a character" or "can you help this DM decide which players to pick from..." kind of stuff I hope... once things get up and running we'll have a better idea of what kind of help is needed.

Paths to Adventure is opening up a second game so come one come all:

quote:
Sargava, where lost treasure, lost cities, lost lore, and lost lives go hand in hand. A place so difficult that even the Pathfinder Society is trying to convince its people to get out for safer realms, suspecting that civil war could break out at any time.

The Society is looking for messengers to get word to the last Pathfinders that they know of in Sargava, or to get reports out if the Pathfinders themselves refuse to come.

I would prefer if at least one character has connections to the Pathfinder Society, or is possibly even a new initiate on their confirmation mission.  Another alternative would be a personal connection to one of the Pathfinders currently in Sargava.

Characters will start at 4th level, stats will be generated with a 20 point buy.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Pathfinder Second Edition Game [Explodium - The Quest for Chicken Tendies] is seeking four players of any class.

[Explodium - The Quest for Chicken Tendies] is filled with silly elements for a good laugh, and doesn't take itself too seriously.

The game is an action adventure comedy, so expect enemies that blow up when killed, flee, or steal chicken tendies.

Expect most NPCs to be so flat in personality that they are just me wearing a fake mustache.

The combat is enhanced with Spectacle Fighter Physics - Critical successes can cause enemies to get yeeted into orbit, explode on the spot, topple buildings, start being juggled (knocked into the air, every additional success keeps them in the air, a miss lets them fall to the ground).

The enemies are Goofy Evil.  They will throw samsung phones that explode like alchemist bombs, some are rather rotund and have earth glide-land whales if you will- and attack by breaching the surface and falling on you for a slam attack, some say mean things that cause poison damage, some cry literal salt, and more!

Come play in this silly wonderland... and uncover the mysterious puppeteer behind it all, some say he's an actual cannibal...so Just Do It.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Hi all.  I'm looking for a couple of new players for my game set in the world I've been slowly building since I started playing D&D in 1978.  I figured I'd ask here before I posted in Players Wanted.

I am looking for players comfortable posting every day or nearly so.

link to another game

From the RTJ post:

Current Character Level:  2

Current characters:
Human Cleric
Half-orc fighter
Halfling Investigator
Sylph Wizard
(Possibly gone, but space being held for now) Half-orc Barbarian

We have a Druid and a Bard who have been abandoned, and you'd be more than welcome to take over either of those.  Or you can start fresh.

Initial RTJ
Send your RTJ with the basics of a character concept, including the character's key personality components, and how they were captured by slaversThe game will start with all of you roped together.  Not to worry, though, the first scene is you escaping.  However, you'll be out in the wilderness with practically no gear, making those who are primarily city-dwellers freaked out a bit.  The game will likely have a balance of city / outdoors / dungeon adventures, as makes the most sense for the PCs, so don't assume you all have to make druids and rangers to fit into the setting.  That initial setup is temporary and an opportunity for role-playing.

We've moved on from the prologue, where the initial characters were held by slavers and were freed by Ridlo and his associates.  I would like all characters to have some experience as a slave as part of the story going forward.  Obviously, you're free now, but your back story should include some experience as a slave.  It can be just a few days because of a misunderstanding that was cleared up, years and you worked to buy your freedom, or you made a daring escape.  You may have gotten free just recently or years ago, but it left an indelible mark on your psyche.  There was, just days ago, a raid on a slave auction by some freedom fighters, where they set all the slaves free, so that might be how you got freedom, or anything else.

Flaw
Every PC must have a flaw (not limited to the ones here http://www.d20srd.org/srd/vari...s/characterFlaws.htm or here https://www.d20pfsrd.com/extra...ity-creations/flaws/, and some of those are too minor), so an interesting part of your personality should be what your flaw is.  There is no need to set up the entire character, but describe the highlights.  I'm looking for what sets him apart from every other 2nd level druid (or whatever) in the world.

Please do make up your own flaw.  Something that is interesting and contributes to role-playing will go a long way to getting your character accepted.  One of my favorite characters that I once made was a barbarian with the flaw that it would never occur to him that someone would say anything untrue.  He understood the concept of lying, once the lies were pointed out to him by friends or by undeniable events, but he would never think on his own that something might be a lie.  For instance, in combat, if his opponent said, "Your shield is on upside down," then he would take a moment to check (and lose initiative that round).  Of course, your average foe wouldn't think to say something like that, but someone who knows him might.  More than once he blundered into an obvious ambush in an alley because of a feminine voice calling for help.  Of course, when he did learn that he had been lied to, he frequently would express his displeasure with the combination of rage and greataxe.

Re: [GAME] Players Wanted

There's adventure to be had on the high seas when a group of press-ganged strangers get embroiled in a large conspiracy that threatens Port Peril and the pirates and freebooters that call that port home.

Players will start as passengers or crew on a merchant/passenger ship heading towards Port Peril before continuing on to the southern colonies of Sargava. Players can be natives of the Shackles returning home or adventurers and explorers seeing the world. Either way events will unravel that will put them in the center of a plot to break Port Peril and change the fate of the Shackles forever.

This is a Pathfinder 2e game set during the 1st edition setting. It borrows some elements from the Skulls & Shackles AP as well as several other games and adventures based on piracy. Players will start at level 1. Once players have acquired a ship the game will open up considerably giving them the opportunity to explore the islands of the Shackles or even take up the pirate trade themselves.

I have space available.

Its currently using Pathfinder rules, but was originally set in Faerun. It was actually Prague's game back in 2013.

It is moving to the Demi-plane of Dread.

I have space for Drow (commoner), Ninjas, Scouts, or Tanky Fighters.

I also have space for a fat human male (generalist) Fighter. All spellcasting roles are currently full, but there might be space for a Lathander Cleric replacement.

Retired characters of Erdolliel Skyrazor wood elf female ninja 7 / fighter 2), Hogan Redgate (human male cleric 6 / sorcerer 3 of Sharess), or Sugi Soto (human male modified complete warrior samurai 9) may be available but there is less wiggle room with them regarding input on their goals, motives, and specific gear.

Inquire within.

Re: [GAME] Players Wanted

So this is not a created game yet, but I am wondering if anyone would have interest in it?

Rules-wise, this would be P6, the Pathfinder variant of E6 (or Epic 6), in which character level and skills and hp and all cap out at 6th level, but you can continue to get "epic feats", some of which open up the limited use of a higher level character ability/spell option. Just Google "P6 Pathfinder pdf" for a larger look.

This keeps things a bit gritty. Which I think suits the setting, since it is...

Primitive. Amidst wild jungle and wide plains, different tribes of humanoids dwell with only the barest of agriculture, no towns, no written language. The vast majority of weapons are made of wood, stone, bone or obsidian. The only domesticated animals are dogs.

And so forth.

Races would be limited to core and lizard-folk (though I might find a couple more I can justify fitting in the setting).
Disallowed classes would be any reliant on spellbooks (wizard, et al.) and any obviously medieval class (gunslinger, alchemist, swashbuckler). Some classes just might only need a change in flavor.
Otherwise, would allow core, base, hybrid and occult classes.

Any interest or feedback?

I'd be interested.  I'm curious, though, what level you plan on starting at.  If you plan on starting at level 1, then I think that worrying about what's going to happen beyond level 6 is ambitious for an RPoL game.  I have yet to play in one that got beyond 4th level.

I suppose, though, it does affect the rest of the world, so it does matter immediately.

Will definitely start at 2nd level, maybe even 3rd. I have to sleep on it.

As far as the game's focus, I have an uber-plot in mind, but it'll come up whenever it comes up. Otherwise, the game will entail a lot of exploration and discovery. So, pretty sandbox-y. With definitely room for other stuff like tribal politics, if that's where players want to put some of their energy.

I still have to fill out the setting thread, but there should be enough there to at least apply. The game introduction gives a general broad overview.

I am looking to replace two players whose characters are a female drow Wizard (Illusionist) and a male drow fighter (tank). The players never really lifted off beyond the usual first post or 3. They're both 9th level characters. The mists of Ravenloft have just sucked everybody up and dropped them off, so it is still very easy to get involved.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Iron Gods Adventure Path

The violet flame atop Black Hill, which has long been the lifeblood driving the town of Torch's economy and appeasing the tax demands of the far-off Technic League, has gone out! The beloved Councilor Khonnir Baine has discovered caves beneath Black Hill in which he recovered the damaged remains of a semi-humanoid metal automaton, but all expeditions since--including Baine's second--have failed to return.

The town council seeks a band of adventurers to brave the depths of the Back Hill Caves, find the missing Councilor, and solve the mystery of the Extinguished Torch.

Hello adventurers! I am looking for 4, maybe 5, players to take on the Iron Gods Adventure Path. Iron Gods takes place in Numeria, a land of barbarians, magic, laser guns, grenades, and chainsaws--think Thundarr the Barbarian, Mad Max, Conan, Lovecraft, and Cyberpunk. The AP is designed to take characters from levels 1 to 17 and will take years to get through here on RPoL; so I'm hoping to find players willing and able to make that level of commitment. I'm also looking for players who will post 4-5 times a week.

Also prefer players not already familiar with the Adventure Path.

For character concepts, you should first read the Player's Guide for the AP found here: https://paizo.com/products/btp...n-Gods-Players-Guide

[GAME] Players Wanted

I am looking for a replacement character in an ongoing Kingmaker game I am running.

Game Synopsis: This is an extremely modified Kingmaker game. We are not using the standard Kingmaker/Ultimate Campaign building rules but instead a 3rd party 5e system adapted to work with Pathfinder.

Campaign Synopsis: The players have successfully dealt with the Stag Lord and are in the process of negotiating with all sorts of ambassadors and influential VIPs to set up a beginning network of alliances...and potentially rivals.

Character Requirements: I am looking for a character that can take on the position of Court Mage. Ideally this would be a wizard or sorcerer but I am somewhat open to alternate ideas.

The idea is this new character was either sent by an ally to help build the new kingdom or was a wandering adventurer that proved themselves useful and earned their way into the inner circle of the established group.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Citizens of Lepidstadt rejoice!  After two decades of terrorizing the countryside, the dreaded Beast of Lepidstadt has been captured!  Yet rather than simply destroy the monster and be done with it, the city council has decided that the Beast is intelligent enough to stand trail for it's countless murders and unspeakable atrocities.  Of course, the trial is but a formality: The evidence of the monster's guilt is overwhelming, the people of the city bay for blood!  Aside from it's duly appointed legal council, there is nobody in the world who might even attempt to make a case for the Beast's innocence.

Nobody...but you?

The Honourable Judge Embreth Daramid believes there is more than the official story, and has quietly hired you to find the truth of the matter.  It will be up to your party to discover whether the legendary monster is truly responsible or if it's merely the scapegoat for some greater evil--and either way, whether it's too dangerous to be allowed to survive.

I'm starting a new campaign around the Carrion Crown adventure path, beginning on book 2: Trial of the Beast.  This AP boasts a mixture of investigation and dungeon crawling, with a gothic horror atmosphere.  It's got a well-earned reputation as a meatgrinder, so I will be using hero points to help blunt some of the more lethal moments in the AP.  I'm looking for active players that can commit to at least 4 posts per week.

If you're interested or you have questions, send me an RTJ on the page for the game.

Applications will be open until noon on Thursday, October 7 (that's 1200 Mountain Standard Time, which 7PM Universal Standard Time.)

[GAME] Players Wanted

I have a long running Kingmaker game that needs a couple of replacements:

The Game
The PC's have defeated the Stag Lord and in a lengthy negotiation process have carved out a burgeoning kingdom of their own. They are currently dealing with a rival Troll Kingdom rising up from the south as well as the standard plague of bandits, fey, and monsters.

The format of this game is heavily modified from other Kingmaker games, just as an FYI. I'm scrapping the kingdom building rules because playing "Spreadsheet Quest" isn't exciting for me. So instead of figuring out where to build houses I'm some 5E kingdom rules so instead the rulers will be dealing with events and their decision will increase or decrease the kingdom stats.

Kingdoms have "offensive" stats and "Defensive" stats. Then when the kingdom wants to do things like spy on a rival or invest funds in a big project you roll based on your kingdom's' Espionage or Resources stats or whatever is appropriate and that determines the outcome.

Also the structure of the game is built into 3 phases:

1) Explore & Events - adventure, deal with people petitioning the courts. Standard adventuring/kingmaker stuff falls here.

2) Build up Phase - once you come into direct opposition to a rival kingdom then you'll have a certain number of "kingdom" turns to build up an army, fortify your borders, and sabotage the enemy's attempts at build up and fortification.

3) The Big Battle - most of the eventual/inevitable war will be handled off screen for the purposes of actually getting stuff done. Instead the "tipping point" battle is simulated as well as the ultimate battle against the enemy generals/ruler.

The ultimate idea is that this game is a LOT less bookkeeping and micromanaging what are generally pointless decisions and instead focus on the kingdom stuff. Kings don't figure out where to build houses and taverns, they've got people for that. The King's job is to figure out which country to  ally with, or whether to send troops across the border to deal with a bandit gang plaguing your people, or to decide whether or not to punish the nobles or raise taxes on the peasants.

The Characters

Cara - the gnomish bard and head diplomat

Vyntis - elvish high mage.

Cara has been with the group since the beginning so I'd prefer someone to pick her up. Tweaking the stats is acceptable but turning her from a bard into a raging viking barbarian wouldn't be ;). Personality wise, there isn't anything too crazy to pick up. She's a gnomish bard. It's what you'd expect :D

Vyntis was a new addition to the party and was barely in the game before dropping. While it would be nice if someone at least took the idea of an elvish mage honestly given their lack of involvement I'd be open for a brand new character.

Application
Apply here: link to another game

If you're planning on taking up an existing character just tell me who you want and we can talk through any questions you have.

If you wanted to bring in a new character to replace Vyntis we'll go through a larger RTJ process but just let me know  the basics of what you'd like to play and we can talk it through.

[GAME] Players Wanted

Doomsday Dawn is an action-packed adventure spanning eleven years, seven regions, and five groups of adventurers on a quest to save Golarion from annihilation. Originally a Playtest adventure for Second Edition, I will be reverse-adapting it to First Edition because I can't be bothered to take up a whole new system after 23 years of 3.x. Players will build five different parties through the course of events to partake in a variety of smaller adventures with different mechanical and roleplay focuses. Players will be encouraged to try out a variety of roles and characters between the five parties.

If you are interested, please come by, take a look, and submit an RTJ. I expect to admit chosen applicants on Wednesday.
